I’m so happy this week to be part of Unity’s Friends with Flair Friday.  Here is a card I made this week for a baby shower I’m traveling to this weekend.  I used stamps from several different sets.  The ‘Miracle’ sentiment is from the June ’09 KOM, the string is from the May ’10 KOM, and the baby onesie is from Soirées and Such.  The patterned paper is from My Mind’s Eye Tres Jolie line.

This week I decided I had put it off long enough.  I really need to get my Father’s Day card done so I can get it in the mail to my Dad.  I’m a procrastinator, I can’t help it.  This year, I was inspired by Ali Edwards new set called ‘Dad Rocks.’

Supplies: Paper – chocolate truffle, and kraft  cardstock, K&Co. EcoModern kit; Stamp – Technique Tuesday-Dad Rocks by Ali Edwards; Embossing Powder – Zing! Chestnut Opaque Finish; Ribbon – natural twine

I bought an extra add-on kit to my monthly subscription to ScrapScription, called ‘A Mother Like No Other’.  I didn’t get the kit finished in time for Mother’s Day, but did enjoy putting it together so it is ready for a nice gift sometime.   While the kit is no longer for sale, you can still purchase instructions so you can get the supplies on your own and make the kit.

Once I had finished the kit, I had plenty of leftovers.  I wanted to make a card using the May Kit of the Month from Unity.  This is what I came up with.

Supplies: Paper – kraft  cardstock, Bo Bunny Back to Basics Boysenberry Dot and Jazmyne collection; Stamp –Unity May 2010 Kit of the Month; Embossing Powder – Zing! White; Other – White pen
